Houlton Conservation Area Planning Committee had a vacancy with the local high <br />school student seat. The Committee discussed and recommends Dylan Church as the new local high <br />school student representative. Dylan attended his first meeting in December. <br /> <br />If a student representative vacancy becomes available, staff recommends that this position be appointed <br />by the Houlton Planning Committee without City Council action in the future. <br /> <br />The William H. Houlton Conservation Area Planning Committee is as follows: <br /> <br />1. City Council Member Jerry Olsen <br />2. Parks and Recreation Commission Member Dave Anderson <br />3. Resident Member Sue Seeger <br />4. Resident Member Michael Schroeder <br />5. Resident Member (Chairman) Stewart Wilson <br />6. Local high school student Dylan Church <br />7. Parks and Recreation Director Michael Hecker <br />8. Environmental Technician Kristen Mroz <br />9. One ad hoc position as needed which will rotate between the Parks Supervisor and the City Engineer. <br /> <br />Financial Impact <br /> <br />Much of the planning effort will be the need to complete a restoration/natural resource management <br />plan.
