Resolution M-04 <br />A Resolution of the City of Elk River Amending the Comprehensive Plan to <br />Change the Land Use from Development Reserve/Mining/Residential to <br />Highway Business/Mining <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 462.355, Subdivision 2, prescribes the procedure <br />for amending the Comprehensive Plan, and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on December 22, 2015, and <br />recommended approval regarding the Comprehensive Plan amendment request for the <br />property generally described as: East of Highway 169 between the alignments for 215th and <br />219th Avenues, Sherburne County, Minnesota, and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the Comprehensive Plan amendment request <br />and finds the following: <br />1. The current use of the site is consistent with highway business and mining uses. <br />2. The proposed land use is consistent with the surrounding land uses. <br />3. The use would not have adverse impacts on the surrounding land uses. <br />4. The proposed changes are in general conformance to the adopted Comprehensive Plan. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk <br />River, Minnesota, as follows: The Land Use Plan be amended to change the property as <br />described above from Development Reserve/Mining/Residential to Highway <br />Business/Mining <br />Passed and adopted this 4�' day of January, 2016. <br />J n J Dietz, yor <br />ATTEST: <br />Tina Allard, City Clerk <br />1p0@N%I 'R I 0 DB t <br />R B UBS <br />
