MEETING OF THE ELK RIVER <br /> • HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY <br /> HELD AT THE ELK RIVER CITY HALL <br /> MONDAY, NOVEMBER 27, 2000 <br /> Members Present: Commissioners Thompson, Toth and Motin <br /> Members Absent: Commissioners Wilson and Huntington <br /> Staff Present: Catherine Mehelich, Director of Economic Development; Marc <br /> Nevinski, Assistant Director of Economic Development; Pat Klaers, <br /> City Administrator; Michele McPherson, Director of Planning, <br /> Sandra Peine, City Clerk; and Terry Maurer, City Engineer <br /> 1. Call Meeting To Order <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River Housing and <br /> Redevelopment Authority was called to order at 5:00 p.m. by Vice Chair Toth. <br /> 2. Consider November 27, 2000 HRA Agenda <br /> • COMMISSIONER THOMPSON MOVED TO APPROVE THE NOVEMBER 27, 2000, HRA <br /> AGENDA AS PRESENTED. COMMISSIONER MOTIN SECONDED THE MOTION. THE <br /> MOTION CARRIED 3-0. <br /> 3. Consider Consent Agenda <br /> COMMISSIONER MOTIN MOVED TO APPROVE THE CONSENT AGENDA AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 3.1. 10/23/2000 HRA MINUTES-APPROVED <br /> 3.2. REVENUE/EXPENSE REPORT THROUGH 10/31/2000-ACCEPTED <br /> 3.3. CHECK REGISTER-APPROVED <br /> COMMISSIONER THOMPSON SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 3-0. <br /> 4. Open Mike <br /> There was no one present for Open Mike. <br /> 5. Downtown Sidewalk Plan <br /> City Administrator Pat Klaers gave a brief review of the discussion that took place <br /> at the October HRA/City Council meeting regarding the downtown sidewalk <br /> issue. He indicated that staff was directed to study the situation and make a <br /> recommendation to the HRA. He stated that staff has completed the study and <br /> has reached a consensus regarding the area and design of the downtown <br /> • sidewalks. Mr. Klaers explained that staff is recommending replacing all sidewalks <br /> that are currently of the "red" design. <br />
