Call HRA Worksession and Joint Meeting To Order <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting was called to order at 6:00 <br /> p.m. <br /> 2. Introductions and Presentation by Monticello Representatives on the Downtown <br /> Monticello Revitalization Plan <br /> The meeting attendees were introduced at this time. Barb Esse of Community <br /> Partners reviewed the history outline of Monticello Community Partners dated <br /> March 10, 1998. She noted the organization has grown from 100 to 300 <br /> members. <br /> Rita Ulrich reviewed the components of Monticello's plan for revitalizing the <br /> downtown and riverfront titled, "A New Bridge", outlined as follows: <br /> Part One- The Beginnings of a Plan <br /> • A Downtown - providing a reason for undertaking a process to revitalize the <br /> heart of the Monticello community <br /> • Monticello Community Partners -guiding the creation of this plan with the <br /> insights of a group focused on enhancing the business and social life of the <br /> Monticello Community <br /> • • Vision and Guiding Principles-defining a path to guide the community to its <br /> goals for the downtown and riverfront <br />
