STM <br />Resolution IS- 54 <br />A Resolution of the City of Elk River Supporting the Elk River Ambassador <br />and Royalty Program <br />WHEREAS, representatives from the Ambassador and Royalty Program are looking for <br />support from the City of Elk River to establish an official Elk River Ambassador and <br />Royalty Program; and <br />WHEREAS, the mission of the Elk River Ambassador and Royalty program is to <br />empower the youth of Elk River for today, tomorrow, and the future by inspiring self- <br />confidence and leadership through acts of community service while enriching personal <br />development and growth with an educational scholarship. <br />WHEREAS, the Elk River Ambassador and Royalty program is working toward obtaining <br />designation as a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization; and <br />WHEREAS, the Elk River Ambassador and Royalty program would be of direct benefit to <br />the City of Elk River and its residents and businesses; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk <br />River, Minnesota, as follows: an Ambassador and Royalty Program is important <br />empowerment program for youth and a positive reflection on the City of Elk River. <br />Passed and adopted this 8t' day of September 2015. <br />JoU J. bietz, or <br />ATI'EST: <br />-Z <br />Tina Allard, City Clerk <br />NATURE <br />
