City Council Member Jerry Olsen <br /> 2. Parks and Recreation Commission Member Dave Anderson <br /> 3. Resident Member Sue Seeger <br /> 4. Resident Member Michael Schroeder <br /> 5. Resident Member (Chairman) Stewart Wilson <br /> 6. Local high school student Isabella Dusbabek <br /> 7. Parks and Recreation Director Michael Hecker <br /> 8. Environmental Technician Kristen Mroz <br /> 9. One ad hoc position as needed which will rotate between the Parks Maintenance Superintendent <br /> and the City Engineer. <br /> Background/Discussion <br /> A planning committee of eight members was approved by City Council on January 20, 2015. Since that <br /> time a few changes have occurred on the committee. Jeremy Barnhart resigned last spring and was <br /> replaced by City Environmental Technician Kristin Mroz. The student representative Nate Benkofstke <br /> resigned last month to attend college. He is recommended by the Committee to be replaced by a new <br /> student representative Isabella Dusbabek who is currently a junior at Elk River High School. <br /> The Committee is recommending that an additional Resident Member seat be approved and filled by <br /> Michael Schroeder. This would increase the number of representative seats from eight to nine members. <br /> Mr. Schroeder has been attending the Committee meetings the past three months,volunteers in the <br /> parks, and has a strong interest to serve on the Committee. <br /> Financial Impact <br /> The planning effort continues to complete a restoration/natural resource management plan.
