MEETING OF THE ELK RIVER HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT • AUTHORITY HELD AT THE ELK RIVER CITY HALL MONDAY, JUNE 5, 1995 Members Present: Chair Schuldt, Commissioners Duitsman, Farber and Hinkle (Commissioner Hinkle arrived at 5:03 p.m.) Members Absent: Commissioner Kropuenske Staff Present: William Rubin, Executive Director; Sandra Thackeray, City Clerk 1. Call Meeting To Order Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River Housing and Redevelopment Authority was called to order at 4:59 p.m. by Chair Schuldt. 2. Consider June 5, 1995, HRA Agenda COMMISSIONER FARBER MOVED TO APPROVE THE JUNE 5, 1995, HRA AGENDA. COMMISSIONER DUITSMAN SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 3-0. 3. Consider April 4, 1995, HRA Minutes • Commissioner Duitsman requested a correction to Item No. 3 of the April 4, 1995, HRA minutes. He requested that his name be stricken and Commissioner Hinkle's name be inserted as the maker of the motion to approve the minutes. COMMISSIONER DUITSMAN MOVED TO APPROVE THE APRIL 4, 1995, HRA MINUTES AS AMENDED. COMMISSIONER FARBER SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 3-0. 4. Open Mike No one appeared for this item. 5. Consider a Contract for Services with Hoisinaton Koegler Group, Inc. (Mississippi Riverfront Pathway Design). Executive Director Bill Rubin reviewed the proposed contract for services with the Hoisington Koegler Group, Inc. He stated that the contract is for the design of the proposed Mississippi Riverfront Pathway project in the Elk River Central Business District. Bill Rubin stated that the cost for the contract for services is in the amount of$26,081.00. Commissioner Hinkle arrived at this time (5:03 p.m.). Commissioner Duitsman stated that he supports the HRA funding the design, however, he indicated he would like minutes or reports to be distributed to the • HRA and City Council on a regular basis so as to keep the Council and HRA Commissioners informed.
