Call Meeting To Order <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River Housing and <br /> Redevelopment Authority was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chair Schuldt. <br /> 2. Consider June 1, 1994, HRA Agenda <br /> COMMISSIONER HINKLE MOVED TO APPROVE THE 6/1/94 HRA AGENDA. <br /> COMMISSIONER TOTH SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> 3. Consider May 11, 1994, HRA Minutes <br /> • COMMISSIONER HINKLE MOVED TO APPROVE THE 5/11/94 HRA MINUTES AS <br /> PRESENTED. COMMISSIONER KROPUENSKE SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION <br /> CARRIED 4-0. <br /> 4. Open Mike <br /> No one appeared for this item. <br /> 5. Public Hearing: Grant Request to T.J. Properties <br /> Because of the circumstances explained at the May 11, 1994, HRA meeting, <br /> Commissioner Hinkle excused himself from the dais and found a seat in the audience. He <br /> refrained from any discussion on this topic. <br /> Bill Rubin provided an overview of the redevelopment project proposed at 403 <br /> Main Street. T.J. Properties, a Minnesota General Partnership, comprised of Mr. <br /> Jerry Smith and Mr. Timothy Smith, are proposing to construct a two-story office <br /> building at the corner of Main Street and Freeport Avenue. An existing single <br /> family home will be moved from the site, and, T.J. Properties is requesting a <br /> redevelopment grant from the HRA for costs associated with on site utility <br /> extensions, site grading, site preparation, foundation removal, fill, and <br /> compaction costs. <br /> Mr. Jerry Smith reviewed the project with the HRA Commissioners. A two-story <br /> • building,with an exterior of stucco brick, is proposed for the site. T.J. Properties will <br /> lease the building to Century 21 White Dove, T.S. Construction, and perhaps <br />
