MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE <br /> low HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF ELK. RIVER <br /> August 25 , 1981 <br /> Members Present - Commissioners Busch , Duitsman , Hinkle , <br /> Schumacher and Toth <br /> Members Absent - None <br /> Also Present - Zack Johnson & Jerry Messman of Zack Johnson & <br /> Associates , Inc . ; Doug Johnson & Carl Brownfield of the <br /> Downtown Task Force <br /> Call to Order - The meeting was called to order by Chairman <br /> Schumacher at 7 : 35 p .m. <br /> Minutes - Minutes of the 8/4/81 meeting were approved as <br /> circulated . <br /> Next Meeting - The next meeting was scheduled for Thursday , <br /> September 17 , 1981 at 7 : 30 p . m. Chairman Schumacher to contact <br /> Bud Houlton regarding -use. of the Community Room at First <br /> National Bank , and to invite a few members of the Downtown <br /> Tack Force to the meeting . Meeting to be a work session with <br /> Zack Johnson & Associates , Inc . regarding the Downtown <br /> Redevelopment Plan . <br /> A public informational meeting regarding the Downtown Redevelopment <br /> Plan was scheduled for Thursday , October 8 , 1981 . Chairman <br /> Schumacher to coordinate time and place with the Chamber of <br /> Commerce . The informational meeting to be the program for the <br /> regular meeting of the Chamber. <br /> Downtown Redevelopment Plan - The balance of the meeting was <br /> a work session with Zack Johnson & Associates , Inc . covering a <br /> variety of issues related to downtown redevelopment planning . <br /> Adjournment - The meeting was adjourned at 9 :30 p .m. <br /> Respectfully submitted , <br /> Donald A.
