l ver <br /> <br />TO: <br /> <br />FROM: <br /> <br />DATE: <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br /> <br />*Item 3.1.-Handout Information* <br /> <br /> MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />Mayor and City Council <br /> <br />Joan Schmidt, City Clerk <br /> <br />July 6, 2004 <br /> <br />6/21/04 Council Minutes <br /> <br />Arthur Jackett, 19435 Dodge Street, was in attendance at the June 21 City Council meeting. <br />He received a copy of the unapproved minutes for that meeting and has requested the <br />following changes to Item 5.7 on page 11: <br /> <br />5.7. <br /> <br />Request by Phoenix Enterprises, LLC for Easement Vacation, Public Hearing-Case No. EV <br />04-03 <br /> <br />Director of Planning Michele McPherson submitted the staff report. Ms. McPherson stated <br />the applicant is requesting to vacate drainage and utility easements in Hillside Crossing <br />Second Addition. She stated that this is a standard housekeeping issue and once the final plat <br />for Menards Addition has been completed, new drainage and utility easements will be <br />dedicated to the city. <br /> <br />Mayor Kdinzing opened the public hearing. <br /> <br />Arthur Jackett, 19435 Dodge Street-lndicatcd kc wag tircd c,f Statedthat Menards kept <br />coming forth with application requests to the city. He stated he is concerned that Menards <br />will come forward with a future request for road access onto Dodge Street. <br /> <br />He questioned the Council i£thev knew o/other requests that Menards m~.v have or <br />are planning. There was no response from Council. <br /> <br />Ms. McPherson stated that Menards has not come forward requesting access onto Dodge <br />Street. She stated they could bring the request forward in the future if they so choose. She <br />stated that if they did, there ~vould be a public hearing and most likely staff would <br />recommend denial of the request. <br /> <br />Council directed staff to contact Menards and request that the plat limit access on Dodge <br />Street. <br /> <br />Action Requested <br />It is requested that the City Council make any changes to the minutes that they consider to <br />be a true and accurate reflection of the June 21, 2004 City Council meeting. <br /> <br />S: \Council~J oan\ Minutes062104. doc <br /> <br /> <br />
