Daryl has indicated to me in our <br />discussions that he believes this wording will be acceptable to the City Council <br />and that this plaque wording is acceptable to the Twaddle family. <br /> <br />Since this bridge plaque wording has evolved over the last two months or so, I <br />would recommend that the city fund the plaques. I would defer to <br />Councilmember Thompson for the cost estimate of each plaque. The request is <br />for two plaques, one at each entrance to the bridge. <br /> <br />There currently is a motion on the table that needs to be dealt with by the City <br />Council prior to any consideration of the attached proposed plaque wording.
