Councihnember Wagner introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />Resolution IS- 34 <br />A Resolution of the City of Elk River Acknowledging Contributions <br />WHEREAS, the City of Elk River is grateful to all civic groups, organizations, and <br />individuals for their contributions to the community; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Elk River received a $1,000 donation from the Zimmerman Fire <br />Relief Association with the intent it be used by the city for Independence Day fireworks. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council, by at least four-fifths <br />vote, to acknowledge the support and commend the Zimmerman Fire Relief Association for <br />their donation. <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Westgaard , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor Dietz, Councilmembers Olsen, Westeaard, and Waener <br />and the following against: None whereupon said <br />resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />The following members were present: mayor Dipry.
