The City of Elk River was among the 116 of the state's 1,360 wastewater treatment facilities to <br /> receive this award at the annual Wastewater Operations Conference in March. <br /> Award eligibility requires facility operators to submit timely and accurate monitoring reports to the <br /> MPCA, demonstrate consistent compliance through monitoring or surveys, and employ MPCA certified <br /> operators. <br /> This award acknowledges the dedication and hard work of Chief Wastewater Operator,Matt Stevens and <br /> his staff. This is the 15"' consecutive year that the wastewater treatment plant has received this award. <br /> Attached is a letter from the MPCA Commissioner John Linc Stine informing the city of the Certificate <br /> of Commendation for the period October 1, 2013, through September 30, 2014.
