EOty1� ,.,�� Request for Action <br /> River <br /> To Item Number <br /> Mayor and City Council 4.10 <br /> Agenda Section Meeting Date Prepared by <br /> ConsentJuly 6, 2015 Michael Hecker, Parks and Recreation Director <br /> Item Description Reviewed by <br /> Park Dedication Fees Proposal Cal Portner, City Administrator <br /> Reviewed by <br /> Tim Simon, Finance Director <br /> Action Requested <br /> Accept,by motion, the proposal from Hoisington Koegler Group,Inc. to update the city park dedication <br /> ordinance and fee calculation. <br /> Background/Discussion <br /> HKGi has prepared a proposal to assist the City of Elk River in updating its park dedication ordinance. <br /> This proposal is a follow up to the recently completed Parks and Recreation Master Plan and reflects the <br /> discussion with City Council at the June 15, 2015,worksession. <br /> This updating process will be to review the city's park dedication policies in the context of Minnesota <br /> Statutes while capturing the amount of funding that is appropriate to support the implementation of the <br /> community's vision.
