City of <br /> Elk - - <br /> liver <br /> Resolution I S- 32 <br /> A Resolution of the City of Elk River Finding that the Exchange of Real <br /> Property is Consistent with the City of Elk River Comprehensive Plan <br /> WHEREAS, The City of Elk River was approached by the Elk River School District with <br /> preliminary plans to expand the high school facility onto property owned by the city;and <br /> WHEREAS, the property encroached upon is a parking lot serving the ice arena and the <br /> loss of parking would negatively impact the arena's operation;and <br /> WHEREAS, the school district proposes to give the city an equal section of their parking <br /> lot in exchange for the proposed impact,illustrated on Exhibit"A"; and <br /> WHEREAS, the exchange is consistent with the comprehensive municipal plan as both <br /> parcels are guided for Public/Institutional uses and will continue to be used as such. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk <br /> River, Minnesota,as follows: The City Council finds that the proposed exchange of real <br /> property between the City of Elk River and the Elk River School District is consistent with the <br /> comprehensive municipal plan. <br /> Passed and adopted this 15`'' day of June 2015. <br /> J n J.h ie ayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Tina Allard, City Clerk <br /> pIWIRIU Ir <br /> 14,1 TUM E <br />
