The HOME Rental Rehab Program <br /> information was recently distributed to rental property owner/landlords in Elk River who <br /> work with the City's Crime Prevention Specialist. The program offers rental property <br /> owners a 0% deferred loan for rehabilitating their buildings. In speaking with the Central <br /> MN Housing Partnership (CMHP),who administers the program for property owners,in <br /> 2001 the program was utilized by one rental property owner in Elk River for eligible <br /> improvements to 30-units. Attached is the CMHP's recent newsletter,which provides <br /> information about the agency's recent activities in the region. <br /> • Second, Sherburne County recently submitted its second application for the MN City <br /> Participation Program. The program allows banks to access proceeds of bonds issued by <br />
