The addition would encroach on a portion of the city-owned parcel east of the <br /> Olympic Rink at the Elk River Ice Arena. <br /> The district proposes to swap land currently used by the Ice Arena as a parking lot for the same square <br /> footage of land in front of the Ice Arena for dedicated Ice Arena parking. <br /> The proposal has been reviewed by the city staff and there are no concerns at this time. Staff concurs <br /> that the land swap is consistent with the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> Financial Impact <br /> There is no financial impact to the city outside of staff time.
