Resolution 8 5m 26 <br />A Resolution of the City of Elk River Amending the Comprehensive Plan to <br />Change the Land Use from Focused Area Study to Industrial <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 462.355, Subdivision 2, prescribes the procedure for <br />amending the Comprehensive Plan, and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on May 26, 2015 and recommended <br />approval regarding the Comprehensive Plan amendment request for the property generally described <br />as: Lot 1, Block 2, Natures Edge Business Center, Sherburne County, Minnesota <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the Comprehensive Plan amendment request and <br />finds the following: <br />1. The current use of the site is consistent with Light Industrial uses. <br />2. The land use is consistent with the surround land uses. <br />3. The use would not have adverse impacts on the surrounding land uses. <br />4. The proposed changes are in general conformance to the adopted Comprehensive Plan. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk <br />River, Minnesota, as follows: The Land Use Plan be amended to change the property as <br />described above from Focused Area Study to Industrial. <br />Passed and adopted this 1st day of June 2015. <br />ATTEST <br />-r ,/ <br />Tina Allard, City Clerk <br />J <br />4J, t2, ayor <br />L TUIRE <br />
