Two HRA commissioners and one EDA commissioner attended the event. <br /> The Open House consisted of a presentation made by MetroPlains,which was a condensed <br /> version of what MetroPlains presented to the HRA at the HRA's June 5th Special Meeting. <br /> Following the presentation, Open House attendees viewed MetroPlains'Downtown Elk <br /> River Model,MetroPlains' display boards describing the redevelopment concepts and city <br /> goals, and the City's Project History display boards. <br /> Comment Forms were made available at the Open House. Staff received the attached six <br /> completed Comment Forms at the Open House. Comment Forms were also made available <br /> at Art Soup via a display booth on the project and on the city Web site. Staff received the <br /> attached twelve Comment Forms subsequent to the Open House,most of which were <br /> completed by those who did not attend the Open House. <br /> Open House attendees were asked to fill out the Comment Form based on five aspects of <br /> the Bluff and Jackson Block development concepts and how those aspects address the City <br /> of Elk River's primary goal and development objectives for the Downtown Revitalization <br /> Project. A detailed summary of the comments received via the Comment Forms is listed <br /> below, followed by a very brief summary. <br /> • Use of commercial and retail space <br /> • 8 people approved of the overall use of commercial and retail space <br />
