Two HRA commissioners and one EDA commissioner attended the event. The Open House consisted of a presentation made by MetroPlains,which was a condensed version of what MetroPlains presented to the HRA at the HRA's June 5th Special Meeting. Following the presentation, Open House attendees viewed MetroPlains'Downtown Elk River Model,MetroPlains' display boards describing the redevelopment concepts and city goals, and the City's Project History display boards. Comment Forms were made available at the Open House. Staff received the attached six completed Comment Forms at the Open House. Comment Forms were also made available at Art Soup via a display booth on the project and on the city Web site. Staff received the attached twelve Comment Forms subsequent to the Open House,most of which were completed by those who did not attend the Open House. Open House attendees were asked to fill out the Comment Form based on five aspects of the Bluff and Jackson Block development concepts and how those aspects address the City of Elk River's primary goal and development objectives for the Downtown Revitalization Project.
