RESOLUTION 83-25 <br /> illIn the Matter of the Vacation of street easements located in the Southwest 4 of <br /> the Southeast 4, Section 19, Township 33, Range 26, Sherburne County, Minnesota , <br /> The above entitled matter came on to be heard before the City Council of the City of Elk <br /> River, Sherburne County, Minnesota, upon the Petition of Todd and Judi Mixer, 2383 Long <br /> Ave. , St. Paul, Minnesota, and upon Motion of the City Council for the vacating <br /> of said street easements , above described; and the City Council having given due <br /> notice of said hearing by published and posted notice as provided by law and said hearing <br /> having been held on the 7th day of November , 19 83 , at 8:15 o'clock p.m. <br /> at the Elk River Public Library in said City, and no one appearing in opposition thereto <br /> and the said Council after hearing the evidence presented it in favor of said Petition <br /> finds: That said easements are At not serving any public purpose and it would be in the <br /> best interest of the public to vacate said street easements • <br /> IIICouncilmember Duitsman introduced the following resolution: <br /> AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF ALL STREET EASEMENTS IN A 40 ACRE PARCEL OF PROPERTY NORTH OF <br /> THE PETERSON ADDITION OWNED BY MR. AND MRS. TODD MIXER: EXCEPT FOR 100 FEET IN THE EXTREME <br /> NORTHEASTERLY CORNER OF THE PLAT. <br /> Which resolution was seconded by Councilmember Engstrom and being put to a vote <br /> was passed by a 4-0 vote in favor of said resolution by the City Council whereupon <br /> said resolution was declared adopted by the Mayor of said City. <br /> Dated at the City of Elk River, <br /> this 7th day of November , 1983 . <br /> Richard Hinkle, Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Robert• d2strator <br />
