RESOLUTION 83-2 EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER HELD JANUARY 17, 1983 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Elk River, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the Elk River Public Library in said City on the 17th day of January 1983 at 7:30 p.m. The following members were present: Mayor Hinkle and Councilmembers Schuldt, Engstrom, Gunkel and Duitsman. The following members were absent: None Councilmember Duitsman introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION 83-2, A RESOLUTION ORDERING THE SCHOOL STREET DRAINAGE AREA STORM DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT. WHEREAS, after due notice of public hearing on the construction of the School Street drainage area storm drainage improvement project for the City of Elk River, Minnesota, hearing on said improvements was duly held and the City Council heard all persons desiring to be heard on the matter and fully considered the same. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River, Minnesota as follows: 1. It is advisable, expedient and necessary that said improvements as described in the notice of hearing thereon be constructed and the same are hereby ordered made. 2. The improvements described in said notice of hearing are hereby designated and shall be known as the School Street Drainage Area Storm Drainage Improvement Project. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Schuldt, and upon a vote being taken theron, the following voted in favor thereof: Councilmembers Engstrom, Gunkel Duitsman and Schuldt The following voted against the same: None Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted this 17th day of January, 1983. 7 , ATTEST: Richard Hinkle, Mayor • Robert C.
