ver <br />Councilmember Wagner introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />Resolution 15- 19 <br />A Resolution of the City of Elk River Acknowledging Contributions <br />WHEREAS, the City of Elk River is grateful to all civic groups, organizations, and <br />individuals for their contributions to the community; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Elk River received a $399 iPad donation from the Minnesota <br />Chiefs of Police Association via raffle with the intent it be used by Darren McKernan, the <br />raffle winner, for work purposes within the Elk River Police Department. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council, by at least four -fifths <br />vote, to acknowledge the support and commend the Minnesota Chiefs of Police Association <br />for their donation. <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Westgaard , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof. <br />Mayor Dietz, Councilmembers Olsen Westgaard, Burandt, and Wagner <br />and the following against: none whereupon said <br />resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />The following members were present: Max or John .1- D; Co un i lm ers Jerry <br />Olsen Matt Westgaard Barbara Burandt and Jennifer Wagner <br />and the following absent: no one. <br />Passed and adopted this 0' day of May, 2015. <br />ATTEST: <br />Tina Allard, City Clerk <br />hn .
