RESOLUTION NO. 81-7, <br /> 0 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SUBMISSION OF A GRANT <br /> AND LOAN APPLICATION TO THE FARMER'S HOME ADMINISTRATION <br /> WHEREAS, A variety of pressing needs for sanitary sewer service in the City <br /> of Elk River have been indentified; and, <br /> WHEREAS, The Elk River City Council has deemed that the construction of a <br /> sanitary sewer interceptor best addresses the many needs identified; <br /> and, <br /> WHEREAS, The Farmer's Home Administration can make grants and loans to eligible <br /> communities for the construction of sanitary sewer services; and, <br /> WHEREAS, The receipt of financial assistance for the construction of the pro- <br /> posed sanitary sewer interceptor in the City of Elk River will make <br /> the project financially viable, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River that <br /> the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized to submit an application <br /> to the Farmer's Home Administration for loan and grant funds to assist in the <br /> construction of a proposed sanitary sewer interceptor in the City of Elk River. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby em- <br /> powered to act on behalf of the City of Elk River on matters related to the <br /> sanitary sewer interceptor construction. <br /> Passed and adopted this 2nd of March, 1981. <br /> (-_--:7- --",- _... e2Z---'7/4",---- - <br /> ayor Richard Hinkle <br /> ATTEST: <br /> 1 <br /> Ro.ert C.
