• <br /> CITY OF ELK RIVER <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 80- <br /> CONSTRUCTION BIDS <br /> HOBBIT HILLS ADDITION <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 80- ordering the advertisement for <br /> bid for the designated improvements for Hobbit Hills Addition, for storm sewer and <br /> streets, said bids were received on the 6th day of October, 1980, opened and tabu- <br /> lated according to law and the following three lowest bids were received complying <br /> with the advertisement: <br /> Bauerly Bros. Inc. $131,316.00 <br /> S & L Excavating $140,752.00 <br /> Lino Contracting Inc. $170,384.00 <br /> WHEREAS, it appears that Bauerly Bros. Inc. of Sauk Rapids, Minnesota is <br /> the lowest responsible bidder; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Elk River City Council as follows: <br /> 1. The Mayor and the City Administra or are hereby authorized and directed <br /> to enter into a contract with Bauerly Bros. Inc. of Sauk Rapids, Minnesota <br /> for the designated improvements. <br /> 2. The Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to <br /> all bidders the deposits made wit their bids, except the three lowest <br /> responsible bidders. When a cont act is duly executed the deposits of <br /> the two remaining unsuccessful birders will be returned. The bid <br /> deposit of the successful bidder ill be retained until the performance <br /> bond has been executed and approv-d, after which the bid deposit will <br /> be returned. <br /> PASSED by the Elk River City Council this 6th day of October, 1980. <br /> 4110 <br />
