RESOLUTION 80-18 <br /> EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br /> CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> ELK RIVER, MINNESOTA <br /> HELD: AUGUST 18, 1980 <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City <br /> Council of the City of Elk River, Sherburne County, Minnesota, was duly held <br /> at the Elk River Public Library on the 18th day of August at 8:00 p.m. <br /> The following members were present: Mayor Madsen, Councilmembers Engstrom, <br /> Duitsman and Otto and the following were absent: Councilman Toth. <br /> Member Duitsman introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION 80-18, ORDERING IMPROVEMENT PURSUANT TO <br /> PETITION BY 100% OF OWNERS OF AFFECTED PROPERTY <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has received a petition pertaining to permanent <br /> streets and storm water drainage improvements, according to the final plat of <br /> the Pinewood First Addition, knowhas 182nd Avenue and Yankton Street NW. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River, <br /> Minnesota as follows: <br /> a. the aforesaid petition is signed by all the owners of real property <br /> abutting upon the streets named as the location of the improvements in the <br /> petition, <br /> b. said property owners request in the petition that the improvements be <br /> constructed and that the entire cost of the improvement be assessed against <br /> their property, <br /> c. the consulting Engineer has recommended that said improvement is feasible <br /> and can best be made as proposed. <br /> and said improvement is hereby ordered. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br /> member Otto, and upon vote being taken theron, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> Engstrom, Duitsman and Otto and the following voted against the same: None. <br /> Whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted this 18th day of <br /> August, 1980. ed <br /> Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> IliOCity Administrator <br />
