Call Meeting to Order <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the work session meeting of the Elk River <br /> Parks and Recreation Commission was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chair <br /> Anderson. <br /> 2. 221st Ave. Trail and Parking <br /> Mr.Leeseberg shared trail options A,B, and C with costs associated with each <br /> option and sharing that there is not any city of right of way. <br /> Mr. Schreifels shared the cost of a grass trail for option C at$10/ft. <br /> Commissioner Anderson shared that we have a 50 foot right-of-way along the park <br /> on 221st. The trail will sit nicely on the other side of the ditch versus when it is a 33 <br /> foot right-of-way. Obstacles discussed include that there is not enough space,and <br /> we need to find out if land owners are willing to sell and will council approve the <br /> spending. <br /> Commissioner members discussed the different trail options presented by staff, <br /> asking staff to follow up with land owners that fall within Option A and Option B of <br /> the possibilities of building a trail. <br /> 3. Rivers Edge Commons Park Concepts <br /> Mr. Hecker introduced Amy Bower from HKGi. <br /> Ms. Bower shared a presentation of expansion ideas for Rivers Edge Commons <br /> Park. <br />
