Request to Install Mallard Houses - Dustin Harell has requested the <br /> Park and Recreation Commission's approval to build and install <br /> mallard duck nesting houses in Woodland Trails Park as part of a Boy <br /> Scout Eagle project. Mr. Harell will be on hand to make a presentation <br /> and answer any questions that Commission members may have. <br /> 6. Request to Construct Batting Cage Facility - Mr. and Mrs. Pat <br /> Donavan are requesting permission to build and operate a batting cage <br /> type concession on City property near one of the athletic complexes. <br /> The Donavan's will be on hand to make a presentation and answer <br /> questions about their proposal. <br /> 7. Consider Trail Width Standard - Presentation by Chair Dave <br /> Anderson. <br /> 8. Review Country Crossings Trail Corridor - The Planning Commission <br /> reviewed and concurred with the Park and Recreation Commission <br /> recommendation for the trail system for the Country Crossing <br /> development. Staff has since discussed one more possible option and <br /> would like to discuss it with the Park and Recreation Commission. <br /> 9. Consider Neighborhood Ice Rinks - City Councilmember Larry Farber <br /> would like the Park and Recreation Commission to discuss the <br /> development of neighborhood ice rinks for the fall of 1994. Some items <br /> that should be considered are: <br /> 1. Locations for neighborhood ice rinks; <br /> 2. Facilities needed for each installation (toilets, warming house, <br /> water availability); <br /> 3. Costs for developing each rink; <br /> 4. Cost for maintaining each rink; and <br /> 5.
