The pond is <br /> labeled outlot A on the attached site plan. <br /> This pond would give the City a rink east of Highway 169 where we currently <br /> • do not have one. Further, this proposed rink is greatly recessed and <br /> therefore, protected from the wind. Additional lighting will most likely not <br /> be required due to nearby street lighting. <br /> Mr. Foster's offer in contingent upon his company not receiving any liability <br /> from this pond being used as a skating rink. The pond is only about 3 feet <br /> deep, however, appropriate measures to ensure public safety should be <br /> considered, i.e., possibly a fence with a locked gate when the ice is too thin. <br /> The City may also wish to consider a warming house in this location. <br /> III <br /> park&rec:skating <br /> 13065 Orono Parkway • P.O.
