These <br /> illustrations have been prepared by Phil Hals and his staff and <br /> are an attempt to expand the off-street parking in this area as <br /> well as improve overall . maneuvering <br /> Funds for this project are available in the HRA' s 1993 Budget. <br /> The adopted Budget designated $30,500 for various parking lot <br /> improvements in 1993. Roughly half of this amount was <br /> designated for the Jackson Square project. <br /> Earlier this year, the City Council suggested that a post-Labor <br /> Day start for these improvements would be realistic. It is, <br /> however, beneficial for the Elk River Downtown Development <br /> Corporation to have input into this improvement project. <br /> ACTION REQUESTED <br /> The HRA Commissioners are asked to acknowledge receipt of the <br /> improvement illustrations to Jackson Square parking lot. In <br /> addition, Commissioners are asked to refer these illustrations <br /> to the Development Corporation for input. Thereafter, <br /> Commissioners will likely revisit this issue and finalize the <br /> design and allow this project to move forward. <br /> III <br /> P.O.
