Broadway <br /> Monticello, MN 55362 ' <br /> RE: ELK TERRACE ' <br /> Elk River, Minnesota <br /> Utility Connection <br /> Dear Brad: <br /> An on-site meeting was conducted this January 1993 at the project site by'the General <br /> Contractor, Meide & Sons and sub-contractor, Roalstad Construction, Buffalo, Minnesota. <br /> IIMr. Roalstad was the utility contractor for Bituminous Consultants, Inc. who contracted all <br /> of the city improvements. He also serviced all utilities into Elk Terrace. <br /> Mr. Roalstad was directed by the City of Elk River Public Works Department to excavate <br /> and cap utilities where the city directed him to dig using the as-built Drawings. After <br /> excavation, no utilities were found and the holes were filled and compacted and the first <br /> lift of blacktop patched. <br /> Meide and Son's request for additional monies for this work is warranted and should be <br /> processed accordingly.
