Call Meeting to Order <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof,the work session meeting of the Elk River <br /> Parks and Recreation Commission was called to order at 6:35 p.m.by Chair <br /> Anderson. <br /> • 2. Capital Improvement Plan work session <br /> Mr. Hecker shared the momentum projects and vision projects as outlined by the <br /> consultant Hoisington Koegler Group Inc. (HKGi) regarding the Parks and <br /> Recreation Master Plan. <br /> Mr. Schreifels explained the projects listed on the Parks Improvement Fund budget <br /> list. <br /> Commission members discussed the 2015 Parks Improvement Fund line items and <br /> prioritized projects. <br /> The following line items were removed: <br /> Court Resurfacing at 28,500 <br /> Bailey Pt Amenities at 25,000 <br /> Deerfield replacement at 85,000 <br /> Total of 138,500 <br /> The following items replaced what was removed: <br /> Add$5000 for Houlton Property Restoration Management Plan for Friends of <br /> Mississippi <br /> Add$3000 to Park Property lines for a total of$6000 <br /> Add$6000 for a Park Forrest Management Plan for Woodland Trails Park,Hillside <br /> City Park and possibly Orono Park <br />
