Request for Action <br />To <br />Item Number <br />Mayor and City Council <br />8.2 <br />Agenda Section <br />Meeting Date <br />Prepared by <br />General Business <br />February 17, 2015 <br />RaeAnn Gardner, Communications Coordinator <br />Item Description <br />Reviewed by <br />Wayfinding Signage Program <br />Tina Allard, City Clerk <br />Reviewed by <br />Cal Portner, City Administrator <br />Action Requested <br />Approve, by motion, a design plan for the wayfinding signage program for the city. <br />Background /Discussion <br />At the February 2, 2015, Work Session, Council provided input to staff and Visual Communications on a <br />design direction for the Wayfinding Program. <br />Council decided to go with the river rock stonework and asked Visual Communications to come back <br />with designs that help make the city and Powered by Nature logo stand out. <br />Visual Communications crafted three new design options that consider Council comments. <br />Once a design option is chosen, Visual Communications will create a full wayfinding plan for the city. <br />Financial Impact <br />Current wayfinding maintenance is already included in annual budgets of various departments.
