Elk River Municipal Utilities UTILITIES COMMISSION MEETING TO: FROM: Elk River Municipal Utilities Commission Troy Adams, P.E. —General Manager John Dietz—Chair Al Nadeau—Vice-Chair Daryl Thompson- Trustee MEETING DATE: AGENDA ITEM NUMBER: January 13, 2015 2.4 SUBJECT: 2015 Tariffs BACKGROUND: At the December 16,2014 Utility Commission meeting,the 2015 Budget was approved. Included with the budget were a number of rate increases. DISCUSSION: Enclosed for your review and consideration are the updated tariff sheets. In addition to updating the rates, updates were made to the Applicable,the Special Conditions,and the Terms and Conditions sections of the tariff sheets. The updates to the Applicable and the Special Conditions sections were done on commercial electric rates to tighten the language on what makes a qualifying customer account. The update to the Terms and Conditions section was done on all rates. This update added language to allow case by case consideration of special or unique circumstances. Also attached are the 2015 fees as adopted in 2014. ACTION REQUESTED: Staff recommends approval of the proposed 2015 rates and tariff sheets.
