Councilmember Westgaard introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />Resolution 14- 60 <br />A Resaduti®n of the City of Elk River Acknowledging Ccntiributoons <br />WHEREAS, the City of Elk River is grateful to all civic groups, organizations, and <br />individuals for their contributions to the community; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Elk River received a $1,500 donation from the Elk River Lions <br />Club with the intent it be used by the Parks and Recreation Department for the purchase <br />and installation of one bench at Baily Point Nature Preserve. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council, by at least four - fifths <br />vote, to acknowledge the support and commend the Elk River Lions Club for their <br />donation. <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Motin , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />1Mayor. John J,Dietz. Councilmembers Stewart Wilson, Barbara Burandt, Matt Westgaard, an <br />and the following against: none , whereupon said Paul Motin <br />resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />The following members were present: 14ayQr John J Metz. Councilmembers Stewart <br />Wilson, Bar]IIra J.
