)Lti*.s, <br /> ilkWorksession of the Elk River Planning Commission <br /> River Held at the Elk River City Hall <br /> Tuesday, August 26, 2014 <br /> Members Present: Chair Eric Johnson, Commissioners Andrew Cook,Jeremy Johnson, Mike <br /> Keller, Mark Konietzko,Jill Larson-Vito and Thomas Petschl <br /> Members Absent: None <br /> Staff Present: Deputy Director, Community Operations and Development Jeremy Barnhart <br /> and Recording Secretary Debbie Huebner <br /> 8.1 Discuss FAST Study Rezoning <br /> Mr. Barnhart reviewed the spreadsheet distributed to the Planning Commission regarding <br /> land use designations/districts proposed for the FAST Study area. He asked that the <br /> Planning Commission consider appropriate uses, design criteria and setbacks for each of the <br /> proposed districts. Mr. Barnhart stated that they will discuss this issue at their September 9th <br /> workshop meeting. <br /> Discussion followed regarding the former Saxon Motors site and the current Cornerstone <br /> Auto site and what impacts the implementation of the plan will have on these properties. <br /> 9. Adjournment <br /> There being no further business, Commissioner Jeremy Johnson moved to adjourn the <br /> meeting to the Upper Town Conference Room (7:10 p.m.) <br /> 8.2 Discuss Gravel Mining <br /> Planning Commissioners attended the Gravel mining open house, and heard comments <br /> from participants regarding likes, dislikes, and goals of the area.
