Call Meeting to Order <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the regular meeting of the Elk River <br /> Heritage Preservation Commission was called to order at 6:35 p.m. <br /> 2. Consider 12/12/02 Agenda <br /> COMMISSIONER GONGOLL MOVED TO APPROVE THE AGENDA. <br /> COMMISSIONER LUNBERG SECONDED THE MOTION. THE <br /> MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> 3. Consider 11/19/02 Minutes <br /> 411 COMMISSIONER LUNDBERG MOVED TO APPROVE THE 11/19/02 <br /> MINUTES AS SUBMITTED. COMMISSIONER OLSON SECONDED <br /> THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> 4. Consider Items on Planning Commission 11/26/02 Agenda <br /> The Commission reviewed the items on the 11/26/02 Planning Commission <br /> agenda and felt there were no conflicts or issues regarding the preservation of the <br /> city's heritage. <br /> 5. Discuss Recommendation on Historic Significance of Downtown Area <br /> The Commission reviewed their recommendation regarding the historic <br /> significance of the Downtown area for consistency with revisions made at their <br /> October meeting and authorized the final draft to be presented to the Housing and <br /> Redevelopment Authority. <br /> 6. Develop Regarding Oral Interviews and Inventorying in 2003 and Discuss <br /> Grant Opportunities <br /> Stephen Rohlf informed the Commission that the city's budget contained $5,000 <br /> for both oral interviews and inventorying. He further discussed his meeting with <br /> the State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO), who felt there wasn't enough <br /> money in the city's budget to do both of these tasks.
