Call Meeting to Order <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the regular meeting of the Elk River <br /> Heritage Preservation Commission was called to order at 6:30 p.m. <br /> 2. Consider 3/8/01 Agenda <br /> COMMISSIONER OLSON MOVED TO APPROVE THE AGENDA. <br /> COMMISSIONER PENNER SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION <br /> CARRIED 4-0. <br /> 3. Consider 2/8/01 Minutes <br /> • COMMISSIONER OLSON MOVED TO APPROVE THE 2/8/01 HPC <br /> MINUTES AS SUBMITTED. COMMISSIONER KRAGNESS SECONDED <br /> THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 4 TO 0. <br /> 4. Consider Items on Planning Commission 3/27/01 Agenda <br /> The Commission reviewed the items on the 3/27/01 Planning Commission agenda <br /> and felt there were no conflicts or issues regarding the preservation of the city's <br /> heritage. <br /> 5. Discuss Elk River Area Rotary's Plan to Restore the Handke Stadium <br /> It was noted that no action by the HPC is needed on this project at this time. <br /> 6. Discuss Historic Significance of the Hunt Feed Mill <br /> Stephen Rohlf provided a copy of the abstract for this property. The historical <br /> significance of the building on the site was addressed as part of the HPC's efforts <br /> towards the HRA's "Downtown Redevelopment Plan". <br /> 7. Consider HRA Downtown Redevelopment Plan <br /> SThe HPC reviewed their findings from the inventory of properties that was <br /> conducted on March 3, 2001.
