The
property is 30 acres in area and is proposed to be split into two parcels,A and B. Parcel A
will be 20.01 acres; Parcel B will be 10 acres. Currently, there are no buildings on the
property, and therefore, both parcels will be buildable although most of the land is
predominantly wet.
The Commission could request 3 acres of land for park dedication; however, the Park
Master Plan does not indicate a neighborhood park in this vicinity. The parcel is within an
area-wide target circle, but it does not qualify Staff would therefore recommend cash
dedication for two lots.
Recommendation
Staff recommends that the Park and Recreation Commission recommend to the City
Council cash dedication for two lots($2,940.00)for Administrative Subdivision request AS
.111
01-02.
S:\PLANNING\MICHMC\PARKNREC\WORMWOOD.DOC
