Mayor Dietz to open and close the public hearing. <br /> 2. Adopt,by motion, an ordinance amending the 2014 Master Fee Schedule to add fats, oils, and <br /> grease control enforcement tier levels. <br /> Background/Discussion <br /> On May 5, 2014, the Council adopted an ordinance regarding fats, oils, and grease control. <br /> On May 19, 2014, the Council reviewed and approved the Enforcement Response Plan outlining tier <br /> levels and the types of violations occurring at each level. <br /> On July 7, 2014, the Enforcement Response Plan was amended to remove tier level penalty amounts and <br /> place them in the 2014 Master Fee Schedule as directed by the City Attorney. <br /> The Chief Operator will investigate compliance with the FOG Control Policy/Sewer Use and Sewer Use <br /> and Discharge Requirements Ordinance through: <br /> a) On-site inspections of FSE and FM/P's,including scheduled and unscheduled visits; <br /> b) Review of documentation of required cleaning/maintenance of grease retention units; <br /> c) Review of records/activities required to be documented and maintained by the User; <br /> d) Review of procedures and implementation of Best Management Practices outlined in FOG <br /> e) Control Policy; <br /> f) Investigation of sanitary sewer overflows and spill and illegal discharges <br /> The FOG Control Ordinance takes effect November 5, 2014,which is the end of the 180-day grace <br /> period granted at the May Council meeting. <br /> Financial Impact <br /> N/A <br /> Attachments <br /> ■ Ordinance <br /> P a w E A E U s r <br /> NaA f RE] <br />
