A trail over Parcel C will connect County Road 32 to land west in
Big Lake Township. A portion of the parcel of land surrounding the existing farmstead has
been annexed by the City of Elk River as part of this proposal. Parcel B will include land in
both the City of Elk River and in Big Lake Township.
A review of the Master Park Plan indicates an area wide park to the east of the subject parcel
but no park facilities on or adjacent to the subject property. Staff would recommend that
cash dedication be required for park dedication purposes.
