The four bids received are summarized <br /> below: <br /> Pearson Bros.,Inc. $194,925.07 <br /> Caldwell Asphalt Co. Inc. $199,229.32 <br /> Allied Blacktop Company $212,659.95 <br /> ASTECH Corp. $269,492.04 <br /> Staff recommends awarding the project to Pearson Brothers Inc. who was the lowest responsible bidder <br /> Financial Impact <br /> The budget for 2014 preventative maintenance is $379,650. Deducting the $194,925.07 for the seal <br /> coating contract and $39,948 in purchased rock from the budget leaves a balance of$144,776.93.
