Call Meeting to Order <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof,the meeting of the Elk River Parks and <br /> Recreation Commission was called to order at 6:30 p.m.by Vice-Chair Ahlness. <br /> 2. Consider 12/11/2013 Agenda <br /> Moved by Commissioner Sagan and seconded by Commissioner Nystrom to <br /> approve the December 11, 2013, agenda. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> 3. Consider Minutes <br /> Moved by Commissioner Nystrom and seconded by Commissioner Niziolek <br /> to approve the following November 13, 2013 Parks and Recreation <br /> Commission Minutes. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> 4. Open Forum <br /> Ms.Jussila, 13142 179th Ct. Elk River.Ms.Jussila shared that the residents <br /> surrounding the outdoor ice rink at Mississippi Oaks Park would like to request <br /> lighting to be installed so residents can ice skate after dark, also submitting a signed <br /> petition showing support of the idea. <br /> 5. Park/Program Highlight <br /> Mr. Benoit presented a slideshow highlighting the recreation programs held in the <br /> YMCA gym. <br />
