Over 1,000 notices were mailed to registered sled owners within Elk River's <br /> corporate boundaries, and the River City Snow Riders distributed flyers (attached) <br /> throughout the City. Attendees were asked to sign in; 110 did sign the attached sheets. Of <br /> those attending, the majority were Elk River residents; nine were from other cities like <br /> Zimmerman, Rogers, or Otsego. <br /> Those attending were able to talk with City staff and Commissioners Polston-Hork and <br /> Anderson. They were asked to fill out comment cards regarding the proposed regulations. <br /> The comments submitted can be summarized in the following manner: <br /> 1. Allow snowmobiling on private property regardless of lot size. <br /> 2. Allow snowmobiling on County Road 1 from Highway 10 to County Road 33. <br />
