Item #9.B.3. <br /> city or <br /> Elk <br /> River <br /> MEMORANDUM <br /> TO: Park and Recreati Commission <br /> FROM: Michele McPherso'QD irector of Planning <br /> DATE: July 10, 2002 <br /> SUBJECT: Consider Park Dedication —Administrative Subdivision by <br /> James & Kim Schuweiler, Case No. AS 02-08 <br /> Request <br /> The Park and Recreation Commission is asked consider park dedication for a two-lot <br /> administrative subdivision. <br /> Attachments <br /> • Location Map <br /> • Certificate of Survey <br /> Analysis <br /> The subject property is located at the southwest corner of the intersection of County Roads <br /> 79 and 32. The property is in the Al District, which requires a 10-acre lot minimum for <br /> subdivision purposes. Located on the subject parcel is an existing single-family home, an <br /> attached garage, and a detached shed. <br /> The applicants propose to subdivide the 10. 79 acre parcel into two. Parcel A will be 10 <br /> acres and Parcel B will be 10.79 acres. The subject property is outside of any park service <br /> area, therefore cash dedication would be appropriate. <br /> Recommendation <br /> Staff recommends that the Commission recommend cash dedication for park dedication <br /> purposes. <br /> S:\PLANNING\Case Files\AS 02-08 Schuweiler\7-10 P&R.doc <br />
