Census data was also <br /> utilized to compare Elk Rivet's housing stock to those of neighboring communities. <br /> Included in this update is data on the number and types of building permits issued, an <br /> updated lot inventory and information on future residential projects. <br /> Attachments <br /> • Staff Report to HRA, dated August 25, 2003 <br /> • 'Minutes from HRA, dated September 22, 2003 <br /> • Lot Inventory <br /> Update <br /> Existing Conditions <br /> The housing types included in our inventory were apartments, single family detached and <br /> single family attached (twinhomes and townhouses). In May of 2003 there were 6,587 <br /> dwelling units. As of June 2004 there were 7,252 dwelling units, an increase of 665 dwelling <br /> units. All of the new dwelling units were either single family detached or single family <br /> attached. <br />
