Of special note was <br /> the desire of decorative lighting during the holiday season and year round. <br /> Since the September meeting, the following improvements were requested or have been identified: <br /> 1. Upgraded electrical outlets for seasonal events (Arts Alliance) <br /> 2. Upgraded light standards, for banners and other features (Arts Affiance, Rivers edge) <br /> 3. Improved landscaping (Rivers Edge priority #3, Downtown Plan) <br /> 4. Wi-Fi (Rivers Edge) <br /> 5. Music Speakers (Rivers Edge) <br /> 6. New Seasonal Decorations (Rivers Edge) <br /> 7. White Lights all year round/LED (Rivers Edge priority #1) <br /> 8. Digital Billboard (Rivers Edge) <br /> 9. Arch/Gateway-"Welcome to Downtown"—North side of downtown parking lot,behind <br /> Kemper Drug&School District, that would have the same design as the downtown park <br /> with stonework, etc. (Rivers Edge) <br /> 10. Spot for snow removal or snow removal contract (Rivers Edge) <br /> 11. Directional Signage ((Rivers Edge priority #2, Downtown Plan) <br /> 12. Mural-from backside Kemper Drug as looking South& Eastbound on Hwy 10 (Rivers <br /> Edge) <br /> 13. Picnic areas (Rivers Edge) <br /> 14. Uniformity of street furniture (Rivers edge) <br /> Staff believes that infrastructure improvements (electrical system, signage,landscaping) best fit the role of <br /> the HRA.
