This was presented to the
Commission at the June 12 meeting. Board members included Mike Hiatt, Roger Lamp and Board
President Mark Conrad. Mark was at the June 12 Park Commission meeting and reiterated with staff that
he wants to continue dialogue with the city on acquisition of golf course property, including the entire
golf course.
Staff did research Legacy grant money sources and found that the golf course property would not qualify
at this time. It was also discussed between staff and the Elk River Golf Club Board that acquisition of
land parcels should continue to be a discussion item because of changes in the state legislation in regards
to Legacy grant monies.
Financial Impact
None
Attachments
None
POWIRID e,r
NATURE
