Resolution Revoking Existing Municipal State Aid Highways <br /> 2. Resolution Establishing Municipal State Aid Highways <br /> BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION <br /> As discussed at the February 11, 2013, City Council meeting,there have been recent changes to the <br /> Municipal State Aid (MSA) rules. The rule changes affect how yearly allocations are calculated for all <br /> MSA cities. <br /> Staff has reviewed the rule changes and recommends the Council approve the system modifications <br /> described in the attached resolutions and as graphically depicted in the map. The changes are intended to <br /> maximize our yearly system allocation. <br /> Our District Engineer and the State Aid office have given preliminary approval. Final approval will be <br /> made by order to the Transportation Commissioner upon submittal of the approved resolutions. <br /> FINANCIAL IMPACT <br /> There are no direct financial impacts associated with this approval.
