Call Meeting To Order <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof,the meeting of the Elk River Energy City Education <br /> Subcommittee was called to order at 3:03 p.m. <br /> 2. Consider Agenda <br /> No changes were made to the agenda. <br /> 3. Marketing Material Ideas <br /> A flier is being developed for the area churches and videos of the demonstrations will be • <br /> developed for distribution to the schools.Information has been developed for businesses. <br /> 4. School Opportunities <br /> Staff Wilfarht discussed the opportunity of having students tour Metal Craft and Faribault <br /> Foods during Manufacturer's Week to learn about the energy efficiency improvements these <br /> businesses have made. The subcommittee discussed having videos made at the various <br /> demonstrations and put into a DVD for distribution to the schools to create more <br /> awareness. <br /> 5. Hockey Day MN 2014 <br /> Commissioner Setterholm thinks a Natural Gas car can be used at the event and <br /> Commissioner Steinbeck thinks an Electric car can be made available during the event. <br /> 6. Tour Promotion <br /> There are a few Energy City tours scheduled for the month of May and the subcommittee <br /> reviewed the survey that is given out. <br /> 7. Other <br /> Nothing was added. <br /> 8. Adjournment <br />
