Poppy Day is May 10, 2013. <br /> The poppy has become the traditional Memorial Day flower and the symbol of remembrance for the men <br /> and women who have lost their lives or health in the defense of our country. The Elk River—Rogers <br /> VFW#5518 has pledged to remind America annually of this debt through the distribution of this <br /> memorial flower.
